Boston Market recalls boneless pork rib frozen entree products

According to Cincinnati.com, the Boston Market Boneless Pork Rib Shaped Patty with BBQ Sauce and Mashed Potatoes frozen entree products were produced at the Jackson establishment on various dates between September 9, 2015, and December 14, 2015.

Only one product is subject to this recall at the present time. The 14-ounce packages containing “Boston Market Home Style Meals Boneless Pork Rib Shaped Patty with BBQ Sauce and Mashed Potatoes” have a “Use By” dates of 09/09/2016; 09/22/2016; 10/08/2016; 10/30/2016; and 12/14/2016, according to the FDA notification.

This product subject to the recall bears the establish number “EST. 18297” on the end panel of the package, reports Food Safety News. This is a nationwide recall because this product was shipped to retailers across the United States. This FDA notice is a Class II recall, meaning the health risk is low.

Bellisio Foods was alerted to the problem after receiving numerous consumer complaints of possible glass or hard plastic pieces being found in the frozen entree. There have been no reports of adverse reactions or injuries from the consumption of the product, and anyone concerned about a possible injury or adverse reaction should consult their health care provider.

Consumers who have purchased these Boston Market products are advised not to consume them and to either throw them out or return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions about the recall can contact Consumer Relations at 1-855-871-9977.
