Drafttek employs a separate analyst for each NFL team, functioning as a proxy-GM who works to provide the best roster of draft picks to fill the holes and weaknesses of his team. Just like the real draft! The result is the certainly the most plausible, most complete mock draft on the web.

This week’s mock draft revision #5 tilts toward the offense. At quarterback, three prospects are regarded as “franchise” players and are projected to be drafted among the top-10 picks. Joe Burrow (LSU) is widely expected to be the Cincinnati Bengals choice as the #1 pick. Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) and Justin Herbert (Oregon) and mocked to the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers here.

Many of our team analysts either want offensive line protection for their existing QBs, or speedy wide receivers to juice up the offensive output. Six offensive tackles are projected to be drafted in Round 1, including three in the top-10. Andrew Thomas (Georgia) is expected to be the first OT off the board, Drafttek shows the Carolina Panthers selecting Thomas. Jedrick Wills (Alabama) and Tristan Wirfs (Iowa) are also projected to leave the board in the top-10, with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns as their destinations.

The 2020 wide receiver class is considered to be the best in years, and sure enough Drafttek is projecting six to be drafted in Round 1. However, it is not until pick #11 when the New York Jets make Jerry Jeudy (Alabama) the first WR off the board.

All seven rounds of results for Consensus Mock #5 are available at Drafttek.com.
