The Chainsmokers to release new CD, play at Forest Hills Stadium

A Grammy-nominated duo, The Chainsmokers will be releasing their breakthrough studio album this year on Columbia Records and Disruptor Records. It will coincide with their largest tour to date, their “Memories: Do Not Open” North American arena tour, which begins on April 13 in Miami, Florida, and it will wrap up in June in New York, where they will be playing two back-to-back shows at Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, Queens.

Multi-platinum artist Kiiara will join The Chainsmokers as their special musical guest on all show dates.

Their latest radio single, “Paris,” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, thus marking their fourth track to reach the Top 10. It features lead vocals from Drew Taggart himself, and it is the follow-up to their global smash single “Closer,” which was the biggest No. 1 song in 2016.

Next month, on February 12, The Chainsmokers are vying for three Grammy awards in such category as “Best New Artist,” “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for “Closer,” featuring Halsey, as well as for “Best Dance Recording” for “Don’t Let Me Down,” featuring Daya.
