Robyn Hitchcock to perform at City Winery in New York City

On November 18, Hitchcock is expected to play two sets at City Winery in New York, where one will be an all-request set.

He has been described as a “surrealist poet,” as well as a “cult artist” and a “musician’s musician”; moreover, he is credited as one of the father figures of alternative rock.

Hitchcock has been touring this year in celebration of his self-titled studio album with shows across the United States and Europe. His latest studio album, which marks his 21st career album, has garnered favorable reviews from media outlets, including Paste Magazine and American Songwriter.

Hitchcock recently toured America with the Psychedelic Furs, where he performed at Happy Valley and Pickathon and the 2017 Edinburgh International Festival.

The new Robyn Hitchcock album, released on Yep Roc Records, is available for streaming on Spotify and on iTunes.
