Review: Waterloo Revival infectious on new single ‘What Guy Wouldn’t’ (Includes first-hand account)

The duo is signed to Toby Keith’s record label, Show Dog Nashville. “What guy wouldn’t want a girl like you, can’t blame me for feeling like I do, go on baby shake your hair, like you don’t mean to make them stare, oh, you’re so cool,” they sing, in the chorus.

Waterloo Revival epitomes the best that modern country music has to offer. They deserve to be nominated for “Best New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year” at a future country music award ceremony. Their talent is too big to be ignored.

The Verdict

Overall, Waterloo Revival delights on their newest radio single “What Guy Wouldn’t.” It is a refreshing tune, with a neat echo effect to it. Cody Cooper and George Birge always manage to release the most well-crafted songs possible. Their harmonies are spot-on as always, and the guitar instrumentation is infectious. It garners an A rating.

“What Guy Wouldn’t” is available on iTunes.
