Review: Tritonal back with beautiful new track ‘Wild Kind’ with Varpu (Includes first-hand account)

“Wild Kind” has a refreshing and fun vibe to it. The track is a real gem, which originated from their busy studio in Austin, Texas. It is one true summer anthem, and they created a beautiful lyric video for the tune.

The track is a serious feel-good and liberating tune, coupled with empowering lyrics that tell the tale of someone breaking free from their emotional chains to live life on their own terms. It is comprised of warm chords and hypnotic melodies, as well as Scandinavian songstress Varpu’s powerful and breathy vocals. Its big harmonies on the chorus create a playful sound bed as the energy builds. Deep bass tones greet us under guitar harmonics, with a glorious lead line, subtle string thrusts and big builds topping things off as we move towards its crescendo.

“Wild Kind” featuring Varpu is available on Spotify and on iTunes.

The Verdict

Overall, “Wild Kind” is a cheerful and upbeat track by Tritonal. Varpu helps elevate it to a higher level. “Wild Kind” garners an A rating. Well done guys.
