Review: Natasha Bedingfield empowering on new radio single ‘Hey Boy’ (Includes first-hand account)

“Hey Boy” is a track featured on the Served Like a Girl soundtrack, which was inspired by the documentary film by Lysa Heslov.

In its clever and fun funkadelic music video, Bedingfield is challenging men in authority, especially Harvey Weinstein and President Donald Trump.

Bedingfield is married to Matthew Robinson, and last month, the British songbird announced that she is pregnant with her first child, and the music video was a great way to reveal its gender (a baby boy).

The music video for “Hey Boy” was directed by Kii Arens, and it was well done.

The Verdict

Overall, “Hey Boy” is definitely a keeper, and it shows that Natasha Bedingfield’s music is going in the right direction. It proves that she is constantly reinventing herself as an artist. “Hey Boy” garners two giant thumbs up.
