article imageReview: Kelsea Ballerini stunning at NASH FM's Stage 17 in New York City Special

New York - Country songstress Kelsea Ballerini performed at Stage 17 for the hit country station, NASH FM 94.7, and it was a stunning performance.
"Hello, everybody! Welcome to Stage 17," said radio personalities Katie Neal and Jesse Addy, both of which co-hosted this event. Addy subsequently thanked Wendy's for being the sponsor. "Make some noise for Wendy's," he said.
As Ballerini took the stage, she greeted the NASH FM audience that gathered on this Thursday morning. "Hey! What's going on?" she asked, prior to noting that she recognized some familiar faces. She also took some time to answer some questions for the audience, which ranged from "What additional single would she have chosen from her debut album if she had the choice?" (her response was "XO"), as well as "What kind of shampoo does she use?" (this morning, it was her hotel's shampoo).
The Tennessee native kicked off her acoustic set with her new single, the refreshing "Legends," which featured her honey-rich vocals, accompanied by her guitar player. It is safe to say that this tune is refreshing and it deserves to be next chart-topping single.
She immediately sang the chorus to her catchy single "Yeah Boy," and dedicated and personalized it to a young boy in the audience named "Brody," which was a sweet moment.
Ballerini told radio personality Katie Neal that her greatest musical influences include Shania Twain, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears; moreover, she revealed that her biggest idol in life, is none other than her mother Carla.
It was followed by her sultry "I Hate Love Songs," which was coupled with a medley of Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" and Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color."
The Verdict
Overall, Kelsea Ballerini was superb at the elegant Stage 17 at the NASH FM radio station. Her warm and bubbly personality was evident throughout her acoustic set, and she managed to engage her younger fans (elementary schoolchildren) quite well. Ballerini's live performance at NASH FM garnered an A rating. Stage 17 was the perfect setting for her. "Yeah girl!" to paraphrase her hit song title.
