Review: Jordan Rager charms on new ‘Now That I Know Your Name’ single (Includes first-hand account)

“Now That I Know Your Name” was co-penned by such established hit-makers as Jeremy Stover, Chris Janson and Jason Gantt. It is the follow-up to his critically-acclaimed debut single “Southern Boy,” which garnered a favorable review from Digital Journal.

“Are you a Ford or a Chevy girl, tell me, does country music rock your world, where’d ya get the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen, wanna split baby right now what you think, I just gotta know everything, now that I know your name,” Rager sings, in the chorus. The lyrics are tender and heartfelt, coupled with his rich, baritone voice. Most impressive about Rager is that he stays true to his traditional country roots, which is a rarity for most artists in the genre these days.
