Review: Cherish Lee dazzles on new country single ‘Tequila Cowgirl’ (Includes first-hand account)

Cherish Lee was born in an entertainment family. She is the daughter of veteran country crooner Johnny Lee (“Urban Cowboy”) and Charlene Tilton from the hit television show Dallas.

Her single “Tequila Cowgirl” deals with an All American girl, who is a hardworking woman, and lives by good values. She has a strong faith and she enjoys tequila; moreover, the female narrator loves animals and she showcases gratitude towards her life. Her goal is to someday meet Mr. Right. With her breathy yet impressive vocals, Lee is able to paint a vivid picture in the minds of her listeners. The song is comprised of instrumentation from traditional country instruments, which give it a retro vibe.

Ironically enough, “Tequila Cowgirl” is the title track of her new album that will be released in January of 2018. She deserves to be commended for her authentic songwriting and storytelling abilities.

The Verdict

Overall, Cherish Lee has released a pleasant new single “Tequila Cowgirl.” The song is very relatable, and her warm vocals are reminiscent of country star Brandy Clark, and that ought to be taken as a major compliment. The single garners an A rating.
