Aussie singer-songwriter Morgan Evans opened for Bryant, and he was able to warm up the Gramercy stage in his first-ever performance in the “Big Apple.”
When Bryant took the stage with his band, he received a tremendous response from his New York audience. His show was a blend of his smash singles, as well as other new songs and surprises (featuring covers of Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” and “Closer” by The Chainsmokers). These included his breakthrough hit “Take It On Back” and the infectious sophomore single “”Little Bit of You,” coupled by his sultry “Room to Breathe.” Throughout the night, Bryant interacted well with his dedicated fans and shared his appreciation for them.
The Verdict
Overall, Chase Bryant was able to deliver at Gramercy Theatre. He gave his New York fans a night of country music to remember. Whoever has yet to see Chase Bryant perform in a live setting is truly missing out. With his spitfire vocals and unparalleled ability to jam on the electric guitar, Bryant deserves to become the next Brad Paisley in the genre. His eclectic live set garnered an A rating.
