Review: Billie Eilish stuns on new ‘Bellyache’ single and music video (Includes first-hand account)

The edgy “Bellyache” is the follow-up to her breakthrough song, the hypnotic “Ocean Eyes.” “Bellyache” is a compelling tune about regret and guilt, and she nails the vocals.

“Bellyache” is available on iTunes and on Spotify.

The Verdict

Billie Eilish’s vocals are crisp, haunting and precocious on “Bellyache.” Her voice is reminiscent of such songstresses as Lorde meets Tove Lo. All of the hype she is getting from music critics is based on talent and merit. Eilish deserves to become the next big female star in pop music. “Bellyache” garners an A rating.
