Review: Andrew Rayel superb at ‘Electric Zoo: Wild Island’ in New York (Includes first-hand account)

Rayel had the audience clapping along to his upbeat trance music. “New York. Are you guys here?” Rayel asked. “It’s so good to be back. If you’re ready to ‘Find Your Harmony’ put your hands up.”

He went on to play a remix of Calvin Harris’ “How Deep Is Your Love,” where he made the heart sign with his hands, which was a neat expression. ” Let me see those hands up,” Rayel said.

After continuing to play more infectious beats and hooks, he inspired the crowd to jump. “I want to see you guys jump like you’ve never jumped before,” he said, and he had the Electric Zoo fans waving their hands from side to side, during his remix of Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha’s “In The Name Of Love.”

“You guys are one in a million,” Rayel said. “Make some noise,” and he immediately broke into one of the highlight tracks of his set, a memorable remix of “I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” where everybody was clapping along.
