Review: 98 Degrees nostalgic at iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards (Includes first-hand account)

They began their set with their smash hit “Because of You,” where they were snapping their fingers, and the audience was really getting into this classic pop tune. As always, 98 Degrees showcases their velvet vocals, soaring harmonies, and even their dance moves.

It was followed by the soothing “The Hardest Thing,” and they picked up the pace with “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche).” “Let’s make some noise,” Nick Lachey said. “C’mon now,” Jeff Timmons added, and they closed their three-song set with their fun pop-dance hit. 98 Degrees had the MMVA crowd with them every step of the way.

Later this year, 98 Degrees will be back on their “98 Degrees at Christmas Tour.” They will be returning to the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Long Island, New York, for a holiday show on December 16, 2018.

The Verdict

Overall, 98 Degrees were superb at the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. This pop group proves that they only get better with age and wisdom. Well done. They are always worth seeing in concert in any capacity. Their three-song set garnered an A rating.
