Op-Ed: Afrojack’s ‘Press Play’ is one of the best electronic EPs of 2018

This EP came out on August 31 via Armada Music and Wall Recordings. There is something in it for everybody, especially for fans and listeners that enjoy house music.

Some of the songs on Press Play were already released previously, but others are brand new tracks, which are bound to become fan favorites. Afrojack is also able to spotlight artists that are signed to his official record label, Wall Recordings, on this project, such as Chico Rose, Chasner, DISTO, and German DJ duo Jewelz & Sparks.

Afrojack really pushed the boundaries of contemporary house music with this musical effort. It is evident that he knows his audience well, and he is giving them exactly what they want. The tracks and melodies stand out by a mile, and it is certainly one of his finest musical works to date. Well done.
