O-Town launches Kickstarter campaign for new studio album

In less than seven hours, they surpassed their goal of $47,500. Most impressive was that they were able to accomplish this simply with the Internet and the strong support of their fan-base. They wanted to do this project without any record label, and to make the new music solely for their fans.

The funds that are raised from this Kickstarter campaign will be used for the production and distribution of their fourth studio album, which will be released in the spring of 2017.

They were the first band to find success via a reality television show entitled “Making The Band.” This past summer, O-Town toured with Dream, Ryan Cabrera and 98 Degrees on the My2K tour, which featured tour stops in 39 cities throughout America. In 2014, O-Town had released their comeback album, Lines and Circles.
