Lucie Arnaz to perform at Adelphi University in New York

Arnaz is the daughter of the late queen of comedy, Lucille Ball, and Desi Arnaz (both of which were known for I Love Lucy). Her career in the entertainment and film industry has spanned over five decades. Arnaz began her acting career in a recurring role on television on The Lucy Show, opposite her legendary mother.

She made her Broadway stage debut in They’re Playing Our Song in 1979, for which she won the Theatre World Award. In the 80’s, she was a part of the touring production of My One and Only, and in the 90’s, she starred in Lost in Yonkers and Master Class.

In 1981, she garnered a Golden Globe nomination for “Best Supporting Actress” for her portrayal of Molly Bell in the film The Jazz Singer, where she starred opposite Neil Diamond and Sir Laurence Olivier.

Arnaz is celebrating 25 years as a solo artist, where she performs in theaters and nightclubs all over the world. She has played in such major cities as Palermo, San Francisco, Las Vegas (The MGM Grand and Caesars) and New York. Arnaz first performed at Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center back in September of 2010.
