KEV talks remix of ‘Moments,’ electronic music and future (Includes interview)

KEV released the Adam Trigger remix of “Moments.” “Actually we didn’t work that much with Adam while making the remix album. Every artist made their own thing with the track and we’re happy with the result from Adam. He did his thing and it ended well.”

On their love for electronic music, they said, “What I love the most with electronic music is the way it evolves all the time. You can hear so many different type of electronic music now days and the way people experimenting with it, is amazing. I mean just listen to Bon Iver, Robyn and Röyksopp. Amazing electronic sounds, but at the same time we have Calvin Harris, as a bigger artist, who also makes really cool music now days.”

Regarding their future plans, they said, “Our plan is to keep doing music that we like, keep working on our sound and on our profile. And hopefully some shows will come in the near future, it would be amazing to say ‘Hi!’ all over the world, to the people who are listening to our music!”

Their music is inspired by a variety of factors. “I think living in Sweden is a big part, we have amazing landscapes with the forest, ocean and so on, which is amazing. The situation in the world is also an inspiration, but other artists inspire us too,” they said.

On the future of electronic music in the next five years, they said, “It’s hard to say, we can see now that the music are going back a lot to the 80’s and that retro sound, so hopefully we’re making electronic music without boundaries. And we’ve already starting to do that. So keep it up!”

They listed Bon Iver, The Weeknd, Zara Larsson and Daft Punk as their dream collaborations in music. “Many great artists out there,” they further noted.

For their fans, they concluded, “Stay curious, be yourself, do things you wanna do. And keep listening to our music, there will be more, I promise.”
