Niemann, has been regarded as one of country’s most progressive artists, and he has had over 10 years experience as a successful singer-songwriter and performer. This new studio effort represents his journey of life and music, which has helped mold the person he is today. “These songs either dig up some old yesterdays or make me look forward to tomorrow,” Niemann said. “That’s why I’ve never been more excited to share This Ride.”
The CD was co-produced by Niemann himself with Jimmie Lee Sloas, and it is comprised of 13 diverse tracks. Niemann collaborated with such songwriters as Shane McAnally, Ashley Gorley, Ross Copperman, Rodney Clawson, Craig Wiseman, Dallas Davidson, Natalie Hemby, Josh Osborne, Chris DeStefano, among others.
This new album, features his latest radio single, the love ballad “God Made a Woman.”
As a songwriter, his songs have been cut by such country stars as Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, Jamey Johnson, The Cadillac Three, and Country Music Hall of Fame Garth Brooks, who took “Good Ride Cowboy” to No. 1 on country radio, back in 2005, where he paid homage to the late Chris LeDoux.
Aside from his music, Niemann is one true philanthropist who is dedicated to giving back. He founded the Free the Music USA charity, in an effort to provide children in need with musical instruments, and joining the eighth annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp in 2017.
