Jake Miller talks about upcoming show at The Paramount (Includes interview)

“The Paramount is one of my favorite venues in the country. I love Long Island, and the fans there are always way more passionate than a lot of places that I go to,” he said. “I’m very excited and hopefully, we will sell out The Paramount.”

When he last played at The Paramount on Long Island in August of 2014, Miller completed his ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, with the help of his father, who had surprised him at this show. “It was amazing. That was fun. I have that on Instagram. The Paramount is such a great venue. The fans all came out and it was so much fun,” he said. “My fans are so amazing, some of the fans even camp out in front of the venue on the night prior to the show.”

For aspiring musicians, Miller said, “Just true to yourself and your style. Don’t try to copy other artists or copy what is popular. Don’t try to stick to a formula. Stay natural and make the music that is in your heart, and just never stop believing in yourself.”

He defined the word success as “happiness.” Miller’s new 2:00am in LA album garnered a rave review from Digital Journal.
