Dale Ann Bradley has a major reason to celebrate. She has been nominated for the 2017 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for "Female Vocalist."
Dale Ann Bradley is nominated among one-time winner Amanda Smith, and such first-time "Female Vocalist of the Year" nominees as Brooke Aldridge, Sierra Hull and Molly Tuttle.
A native of Kentucky, Dale Ann has been crowned "Female Vocalist of the Year" five times throughout her respected career in the bluegrass music scene, in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012, and she has been a perennial contender (nominated in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016).
In addition, her all-girl group Sister Sadie has earned their second consecutive IBMA nomination for the "Emerging Artist of the Year" category.
Last year, Dale Ann was nominated for a 2016 Grammy award for "Best Bluegrass Album" for her critically-acclaimed Pocket Full of Keys.
