Catching up with Blink 180 TRUE at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall (Includes interview)

Along with drummer Chris Collins, Blink 180 TRUE is the national Blink-182 tribute band, and this marked their second concert at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall this year. “We love it here. It’s just really cool. I wasn’t prepared for this weather, but it’s good to be here. We are happy and we are going to have a good time,” Bob Amendola said. “You will be hearing a lot of Blink-182 tonight, and you will probably be offended with every mom and Blink joke there is.”

Shawn added, “It’s fantastic. We love coming here at Mulcahy’s. It’s so much fun. Just being here is awesome.”

Blink 180 TRUE is motivated by music in general. “This band pushes us to keep learning and to keep being on the road. We like to have fun. That’s the whole point of the band,” Amendola said.

When Shawn was asked which Blink-182 song is his personal favorite, he responded “Rock Show.” “We are singing that one early in the night,” he said.
