Big & Rich discuss dream collaborations, to release new album (Includes interview)

“As a collaboration, I’ve always thought it would be absolutely off the chart to work with Tina Turner,” said Big Kenny, prior to sharing that Turner “brings an energy to the stage,” and a reality that he doesn’t think anyone has ever done since. “There’s some great respect that comes to me whenever I’ve seen footage of her performing, and I’ve never even seen her live or in-person in any way, but just the energy and vibe… I just think it would be cool to meet her one day.”

John Rich noted that there are a “bunch” of artists out there that he would like to someday collaborate with. “There’s a bunch if you really start thinking about it,” Rich admitted. “One of my favorite female voices ever that I think would be crazy sounding with Big & Rich would be Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac and Big & Rich sounds pushed together would be something to behold, I think.”

The new Big & Rich album, Did It for the Party, will be out on September 15, and it includes the latest single “California.” The CD is available for pre-order on iTunes, and on Amazon.
