Alice Cooper to release ‘Paranormal Evening at The Olympia Paris’

This collection follows the release of his latest studio offering Paranormal, which fared well from a commercial standpoint. After Alice Cooper toured the entire last year, his “Paranormal” Tour concluded in Paris on December 7, 2017, at the hallowed Olympia venue in Paris, which has featured such iconic performers as Edith Piaf, to The Beatles, to Alice Cooper and his band.

The album will be released on August 31, 2018 via earMUSIC as a two-CD digipak, 2LP Gatefold (white and red LP), and on digital retailers. It will be comprised of a 90 minute rock concert that features such timeless Alice Cooper classics as “Poison,” “School’s Out, “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” as well as “Pain,” and “Woman of Mass Destruction”; moreover, it will feature “Paranoic Personality,” which is the lead single of Cooper’s latest album, Paranormal.

Joining Cooper on this live album (which was filmed at The Olympia in Paris last December) are long-time guitarists Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie, as well as Chuck Garric on bass, and Glen Sobel on drums.

Paranormal, which was produced by Bob Ezrin, is his first studio effort in six years. It featured such special musical guests as Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Larry Mullen Jr. from U2, Roger Glover from Deep Purple, as well as three original Alice Cooper band members (Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce). The CD reached No. 4 in the album charts in Australia and Germany, as well as No. 6 in the United Kingdom and Sweden; furthermore, it was the highest chart position for Cooper in several decades. Paranormal is available for streaming on Spotify.
