Scared in Jersey is the leading Halloween event in the Northeast, and it takes place every Thursday through Sunday during the month of October, in addition to Halloween night, which falls on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Scared in Jersey is presented by Live Nation, and it includes such attractions as the Pine Barren Maze, Mother Leeds’ Haunted Cottage, The Devil’s Midway and live performances from Blood Drums each night.
This event comes with a warning, especially since it is not those that are easily disturbed or scared. The Jersey Devil has a rich significance in folklore. The fans and attendees of Scared in Jersey are going to find their way through the Pine Barren Maze, whose walls will be comprised of large pine trees, as well as branches and fallen leaves; moreover, 18th century ghosts (of the victims) and the Jersey Devil itself will scare everybody that makes their ways in their paths.
It will be followed by Old Mother Leeds’ Cottage, which is reminiscent of a theater, where visitors will experience the birth of the Jersey Devil as they witness the scenes that are played out in Old Mother Leeds’s house, while The Devil’s Midway consists of the ghosts of the victims that were attacked by the Jersey Devil. Attendees are able to purchase food and merchandise and even engage with the victims of the attacks.
