Review: Emma Watson stuns in ‘Something There’ in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (Includes first-hand account)

Aside from Watson as the lead heroine, Belle, the all-star cast of actors includes Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as the teapot Mrs. Potts, Luke Evans as the antagonist Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice and Dan Stevens as “The Beast,” who turns into a prince.

The film is a journey of Belle, who is a bright, brave and independent woman, who is taken prisoner by the beast in the castle. While at the castle, she befriends the staff and is able to see the heart within the beast, who will inevitable become her handsome prince.

The motion picture’s trailer, which was released in November, went viral online, and a few days ago, Disney released a snippet of Emma Watson singing “Something There” in character as Belle. The 33 second clip is available on the Beauty and the Beast Twitter page.

Watson’s version of “Something There” is angelic and soothing, and she maintains great control over her voice. It is an instant and refreshing hit, and it will certainly please Beauty and the Beast fans worldwide.

Beauty and the Beast will be released in theaters in America on March 17. To learn more about this Disney re-telling of the classic film, check out its official website.
