Kate Katzman talks about ‘The Comeback Trail,’ and digital age (Includes interview)

The movie will be released in theaters on November 13, and she plays the female lead. On her experience in The Comeback Trail, she said, “It was amazing. Surreal. Hard to fathom being able to work with so much amazing talent.”

“Being able to work with such a brilliant director as George Gallo was what I liked the most about it,” she said. “He is a true Renaissance man incredible writer, director, painter, and musician. He and his whole crew were a pleasure to work with.”

On being an actress in the digital age, she said, “It allows a lot more opportunities for smaller more independent projects to get the chance to be seen.”

Regarding her daily inspirations, she said, “God inspires me each and every day. I would not be anywhere without him and I am incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.”

For young and aspiring actors, she said, “Be true to your passion and never give up but never compromise yourself.”

She listed the following actors as the people that she would love to someday work with on a dream action movie: Keanu Reeves, Denzel Washington, Liam Neeson, and Kate Beckinsale.

On her definition of the word success, she said, “Setting goals for oneself and working to achieve them.”

Katzman concluded about The Comeback Trail, “It’s a hysterical comedy with an iconic cast. It provides a much-needed escape from the issues happening in the world right now.”
