Let’s not forget that the star of the commercial is glue, used to fix a pair of glasses and…a unicorn head. The ad got a lot of positive feedback and has already spawned a number of GIFs.
T-Mobile
The power of celebrity is strong in this ad. Chelsea Handler and Sarah Silverman feature in an increasingly absurd passive-aggressive war of one-upsmanship. The two see who has the stronger signal from a variety of strange mansion rooms, from a “hydroponic kale garden” to a basement ice skating rink.
Esurance
If you’re still not over Breaking Bad and can’t wait until Feb. 8 for the premiere of Better Call Saul, allow this hilarious ad to tide you over A woman comes to pick up her prescription, only to be greeted by Walter White (Bryan Cranston). He tells her he’s “sorta” like her usual pharmacist, Greg, pointing out his similarities and subtly intimidating her.
Fiat
The “little blue pill” is the focus of this pun-filled ad for the Fiat 500X. The commercial follows a blue pill as it escapes an old man’s hands, ricocheting off of buildings and people before finally landing in a car’s fuel pipe for a twist ending. Be sure to catch the double entendres in the final words you’ll see on screen.
Snickers
Snickers has done its “You’re not you when you’re hungry” ads for a few years now, in the past featuring celebrities like Robin Williams, but this ad takes it up a notch by spoofing on The Brady Bunch and featuring the menacing-looking Danny Trejo.
