The song was co-penned by Harmon, Jimmy Robbins, and Laura Veltz, and was produced by Robbins. It was released on his record label, Big Machine Records.
“There’s a girl somewhere in Tupelo, who’s with a guy she barely knows, probably sell his soul for a kiss, there’s a girl somewhere in Arkansas, who’s talking with a southern drawl,” Harmon sings.
The single is extremely radio-friendly and fun. His baritone vocals are reminiscent of country duo Dan + Shay meets The Swon Brothers. It is no wonder that New York’s hit country music station, NASH FM 94.7, has been playing it regularly on its radio airwaves.
