Review: Rend Collective delights on ‘You Will Never Run’ single and video (Includes first-hand account)

Most recently, Rend Collective performed at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where they shared the stage with Christian music superstar Chris Tomlin, as part of “Worship Night In America.”

Originally from Bangor, Northern Ireland, they have a new album As Family We Go that will be out on August 21.
Their previous studio album,The Art Of Celebration, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Music chart and No. 13 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts.

“You Will Never Run” is already in the Top 20 on the Hot AC chart, as well as in the Top 25 on the National Christian Audience chart, and rightfully so. It should propel them to the next level of stardom.

“Love wide as galaxies, Love deeper than the sea, Countless as all infinity, Love like a shooting star, Tearing apart the dark, Shining for all eternity,” Rend Collective sings.

The Verdict

Overall, Rend Collective’s latest single, the inspirational “You Will Never Run” garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Their harmonies are strong, and it allows them to shine as a worship group. The song has an infectious, Celtic-sounding melody, which adds to its appeal, in addition to its eloquent lyrics. If this is any indication of what their new album is going to sound like, then Christian music fans will be in for a real treat.
