Review: Prince Royce charms on ‘Back It Up’ music video (Includes first-hand account)

Its music video has a tropical vibe to it, and stunning cinematography and dance moves from Jennifer Lopez. Colin Tilley had done a good job filming it, and it captures the essence of the song. “Back It Up” is a track from his latest album, Double Vision.

It is no wonder that the past five years have been very successful for the Latin star. He has secured 10 consecutive No. 1 singles, 20 Latin Billboard awards, as well as seven Latin Grammy nominations, proving that he is a true force to be reckoned with. His massive following on YouTube and Facebook speaks volumes of his administration from his fans. He has performed at such esteemed venues as Radio City Music Hall, The Nokia Theater and the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Verdict

Overall, Prince Royce’s music video for “Back It Up” is well-crafted and a great deal of fun. His style is very diverse yet distinct. The single is also one of the stand-out songs from his Double Vision CD. It is evident that he was born to entertain. His music video garners an A rating.
