Review: Jessie Chris charms on new country single ‘In The Meantime’ (Includes first-hand account)

Tomorrow, her song makes its premiere on Radio Disney, and rightfully so. It is reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s early material, such as “Tim McGraw” meets “Our Song.” Her vocals are warm and crystalline.

At 18 years old, Chris was the youngest performer at last year’s CMA Music Festival. She has shared the stage with such artists as Luke Bryan, Chris Young and Billy Ray Cyrus, among others. In addition, Chris recorded an acoustic version of the 98 Degrees ballad, “I Do,” as a duet with 98 Degrees founding member Jeff Timmons.

Philanthropy is dear to Chris’ heart. She has visited and performed for the Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed Medical Center in our nation’s capital. She is a regular guest of Ryan Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital and other children’s hospitals.

The Verdict

Overall, Jessie Chris has released a well-crafted new single “In The Meantime,” and its lyrics are quite optimistic and refreshing. She inspires her fans to dream big. It earns an A rating.
