Review: Graham Nash superb on new ‘This Path Tonight’ album (Includes first-hand account)

Nash’s album opens on a haunting note with the title track “This Path Tonight,” and it is followed by the neat acoustic ballad “Myself At Last,” where his voice is crystal clear. “Cracks In The City” is mid-tempo and instrumentally stunning, while “Beneath The Waves” is another atmospheric vocal.

“Another Broken Heart” is a melancholic tune that Nash simply nails. “Target” is an acoustic guitar masterpiece, coupled with Nash’s soothing voice. One of the highlight tracks on the album is “Golden Days,” which ought to be enjoyed for its simplicity and rich lyrics. It closes with the nostalgic “Back Home” and the ballad “Encore.”

The Verdict

Overall, Graham Nash is as strong as ever on this brand new release This Path Tonight. All tracks on here are solid, and they would fare well when they are performed in a live setting. This CD garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
