His skills and style on the hook and the song’s chorus were inspired by the iconic rapper Project Pat. He described his music as the “heart and soul of Memphis.”
When asked what influences his songwriting, he shared that he tried it, and it worked out for him. “I tried music and it worked out,” he said.
Each day, he is motivated by his kids. “I wanted to stay out the streets and just do something positive for them. They inspire me to go in the studio and try to make it happen,” he said.
His plans for the future are to someday be a “billionaire.” “The average person in the world is satisfied with the millions. Nobody is working towards the billions like that they are supposed to. They are content with $5 or $10 million. I want to be one of those people who strives for the billions,” he said.
Growing up, he was inspired by such musical acts as Jackson 5, The Temptations, Ludacris and Three 6 Mafia. He listed Drake and The Weeknd as his dream collaboration choices.
