Miranda Lambert to sing at this year’s Grammy awards

She will be performing at this year’s Grammy awards, that will take place on February 8, in Los Angeles and it will subsequently be televised on CBS. Lambert is nominated in all of the four country music categories. She is up for “Best Country Solo Performance” for “Automatic,” which is also in the running for “Best Country Song.”

Automatic” was co-written by Lambert and such talented songwriters as Nicolle Galyon and Natalie Hemby, and it is a stance against modernization.

Her fifth studio album, Platinum, was released in June of 2014 on RCA Nashville. It is nominated for “Best Country Album” and it was well-received by Digital Journal. Lambert’s duet with Carrie Underwood is nominated for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance.”

In 2010, Lambert was honored with her first Grammy award in the “Best Female Country Vocal Performance” category for her moving ballad and chart-topping single, “The House That Built Me.”
