On January 1, 2016, the tribute band will be playing at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City; moreover, on January 2, they will be performing at The Paramount in Huntington. To learn more about their Long Island show at The Paramount, visit the venue’s official homepage.
Most impressive about DelGuidice is that in 2013, he was afforded the privilege to be a part of Billy Joel’s actual band, and has been a part of it ever since. A gifted vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, DelGuidice plays bass guitar, guitar, drums and piano.
DelGuidice was a part of Billy Joel’s 70th concert at Madison Square Garden, which Digital Journal had the pleasure to review.
Aside from DelGuidice on lead vocals and piano, the tribute band is comprised of Tommy Byrnes (who is also Billy Joel’s musical director) on lead guitar and background vocals, Chuck Burgi on drums, John Scarpulla on saxophone, Nick Dimichino on bass, and Carmine Giglio on keybaords.
