Jennifer Lawrence sings Cher’s ‘Believe’ on ‘Conan’

Conan noted that she sang a ballad,”The Hanging Tree,” for the feature film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, and it subsequently went No. 1 on the charts, prior to her noting that she could have made armpit noises and those would have reached No. 1, thanks to the support from her fans. “Seriously, it wasn’t me. Singing in front of people is my biggest fear in the entire world,” the actress said.

With the help of her co-stars, Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, she went on to deliver a spot-on and dramatic impression of Cher by singing “Believe.” “Wow, that’s fantastic,” Conan said, praising the actress for her memorable rendition, which has since gone viral.

As Digital Journal reported, Lawrence is set to play Pulitzer Prize-winning war photographer Lynsey Addario, in an adaptation of her memoir, with Steven Spielberg as the film’s director.

Aside from her acting endeavors, Lawrence is involved with her foundation, which supports a variety of organizations and causes. For more information on the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation, check out its official website.
