Interview: LANco talks new country single ‘Long Live Tonight’ (Includes interview)

On playing the Pennysaver Amphitheater, Lancaster said, “It feels good. We are excited. There’s a lot of history here. A lot of good acts have played here, and we are honored to be a part of it.”

LANco performed as part of the 6th annual “The Fest,” where they opened for such country acts as Chris Lane, Michael Ray, Canaan Smith and Chris Young.

Their new music video for “Long Live Tonight” premiered in Times Square in the heart of New York City. “It was really surreal,” Tripp Howell said. “Your whole life you hear about Times Square. To see your face on those big screens is incredible. It’s an exhilarating feeling.”

When asked what motivates them each day, Howell said, “We are blessed when we wake up and we get to play drums and when we get to sing and do our thing. We’re just excited to be doing this for a living.”

Aside from Lancaster and Howell, LANco is made up of Eric Steedly, Jared Hampton and Chandler Baldwin. They listed country songstresses Alison Krauss, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert as their dream female duet choices. “There are lot of great acts out there,” they said.

For their fans, Lancaster concluded, “Thank you for being our fans. Hit us up on our socials. Come out and hang out at the merch table after the show. Come and see us live, since that completes the experience.”
