On performing at Marquee New York this Friday, Knight said, “This is going to be my fifth show there. All of the previous shows there have been fantastic. I’m sure tomorrow will be just as good, if not better. I am looking forward to it. ”
Knight added, “It’s the usual Mark Knight show. It will have a lot of material. have been working on a lot of new music.”
His main focus this year is to finish up his artist album, and then to tour more. He is drawn to electronic dance music due to the “emotions that it creates.” “It creates a euphoria and it forms a connection to my soul,” he said.
Knight listed Grammy winner Erykah Badu as his dream female collaboration choice in music. “I would love to work with her. She is amazing,” he said.
He shared that he has performed in Greece, especially at Cavo Paradiso Club in the island of Mykonos. “I’ve played in Greece many times,” he said. “Cavo is probably my favorite club out of all the Greek islands.”
When asked where he sees electronic dance music in the next five years, he said, “It has a great future, and it is growing and growing. It is just going to get bigger and better.”
For his fans, Knight concluded, “Thank you for all of the support, and for coming to the shows, and for buying the music. If you are in New York, make sure to come to Marquee. It’s going to be a great night on Friday.”
