Wilson is an iconic American composer, singer, arranger and producer, as well as co-founder of the rock group The Beach Boys. In 1988, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as a member of The Beach Boys.
Throughout his respected career in the music industry, Wilson has had nine consecutive gold-certified albums, for sales of over 500,000 units. His radio hit singles include “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Help Me Rhonda,” and “California Girls,” all of which Wilson co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed, proving that he is a multi-faceted entertainer.
Wilson just released his eleventh studio album, No Pier Pressure, on April 7, 2015, on the record label, Capitol Records, which he co-produced with Joe Thomas. It reached the Top 30 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts. His latest album includes collaboration with such artists as Sebu Simonian from the duo Capital Cities, country songstress Kacey Musgraves, Nate Ruess (the lead singer of the band Fun) and the duo She & Him.
