Rock queen Ann Wilson from the rock band Heart will be releasing her new EP "The Ann Wilson Thing" on September 18 digitally, as well as October 9 in stores.
This is her first solo EP, which will be out on the record label, Rounder Records. It includes the song "Fool No More," which was penned by Wilson, as well as "For What It's Worth."
A Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Wilson will be embarking on her first solo tour on September 21 in Solana Beach, California, and she will be playing two intimate shows at New York's City Winery on October 7.
Her October 15 concert in Nashville's City Winery will feature Grammy winners Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris as her special musical guests; moreover, her show in Hartford, Connecticut, at the Kate Hepburn Theater will be filmed by Connecticut PBS as part of their new "Kate Hepburn Series," and it will air on PBS in February of 2016.
As a lyricist and songwriter, Wilson has written some classic rock hits including "Crazy on You," "Barracuda," "Magic Man," "Dog & Butterfly," "Even It Up," among many others.
