By Stan Rezaee     Apr 30, 2016 in Entertainment
Following rumors that the next game in the series will be titled Infinite Warfare while a remastered version of Modern Warfare is in the works, Activsion unveiled the first teaser for the next Call of Duty.
The teaser features several hidden images while an individual from the Settlement Defense Front is giving a cryptic message to the viewer. The unknown subject tells the viewer: Make no mistake, we will rip you from the history books. Every last trace of you, gone. You will know loss. We will be the architects of your pain. We will build monuments to your destruction. The whole world will bear witness to this: our ascension. We will blot out the skies, we will bury you in darkness. Know this, and know us. We are your enemy. We are the Settlement Defense Front.
Even though the teaser doesn't give much information, it has been speculated that the new game will be an intergalactic-themed military shooter. Based on the rumors along with the logos featured in the teaser, the new game could be heavily influenced by the Warhammer games and the Killzone series.
According to Gamespot, the same logo and person began to appear on signs in the Nuk3town map for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Rumored to be titled Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it will be the thirteenth game in the iconic shooter series. It's being developed by Infinity Ward and there has been no word if it will be set in the same story line arch as Call of Duty: Ghosts or Advanced Warfare.
Activsion is expected to make an officially announcement during the week of May 2.
