‘MadTV’ is coming back in January

While there are currently no plans to return the series to the air for good, the fan favorite that aired from 1995-2009 will air a reunion special to celebrate their 20-year anniversary on Jan. 12, according to TVLine.

The CW will air the one-hour special that will include many of the original cast members, including Ike Barinholtz, Family Guy‘s Alex Borstein, and the actor behind MadTV’s most lovable character Stuart, Michael McDonald. In total, the CW confirms that 19 former stars of the series will appear in the special. According to Mic, the program will also include some familiar guest stars.

In its original run, over 300 episodes of the series aired over the course of 14 seasons. Fans can see 75 episodes on the CW Seed service beginning on Jan. 5, in preparation of the upcoming special, Screen Crush reports.

As to the full list of 19? According to Screen Crush, they will be none other than Sisters star Ike Barinholtz, Family Guy voice Alex Borstein, Parks favoriite Mo Collins, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Futurama favorite Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephanie Weir and Debra Wilson.
