Kim Kardashian couldn’t be prouder of stepmother Caitlyn Jenner, who made her big debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair on June 1 even though Jenner’s unveil totally overshadowed Kim’s pregnancy announcement.
“She’s proud, she loves him,” a Kardashian told the New York Daily News. “She was letting the world know she supports Bruce.”
Kardashian, 34, fueled speculation she was trying to steal Caitlyn’s thunder by announcing her second pregnancy on the same day Jenner’s Vanity Fair magazine interview was released.
However, sources said Kim totally supports the former Bruce Jenner, despite the odd timing of her pregnancy revelation. Kardashian said she saw Caitlyn in full womanly attire before her Vanity Fair cover shoot, and said Jenner is a stunning woman.
“She looked beautiful,” Kim told Access Hollywood. “She was dressed up: beautiful makeup, beautiful hair. Caitlyn is very, very beautiful.”
Meanwhile, the former Bruce Jenner said she is ecstatic to finally be free with her gender identity and live her life as the woman she was meant to be.
Caitlyn understands some people will question whether her sex change transition to a woman was a publicity stunt, but she insists she did it to be happy, not for press. “I’m not doing this to be interesting,” said Jenner, 65. “I’m doing this to live.”
