Kevin Hart to host the roast of Justin Bieber for Comedy Central

The man who will head the March 30 roasting is the equally diminutive in stature, Kevin Hart. The actor-comedian, whose ‘The Wedding Ringer’ is currently in theaters, said he is not usually down for the roast thing but for his young friend Bieber, whose birthday is March 1, he’s set to go.

“I don’t normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs,” Hart said. “It’s his big 21. It’s about to be ‘operation roast everyone’s ass.'”

Will there be enough material to roast Justin Bieber? Is Paris a city? Do bears shit in the woods? Should Kanye West be barred from the Grammys?

If they don’t use the arrests for speeding or for throwing eggs at a neighbours house they could use fighting paparazzi, fighting Orlando Bloom or saying that Anne Frank would have been be a Belieber.

They might also use his forever walking around without a shirt, strolling about London in a gas mask or urinating in a hotel mop bucket while dissing Bill Clinton.

Oh they’ll find something.

Now lest you think that the Biebs is leery about presenting himself at the appropriate studio on that March 30 date, think again. Back when the roasting was first announced he took to twitter to comment on it.

“For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me,” he wrote. “They said only if I provided them with more material so for a year now I have worked hard.”

A year? He’s been working hard a lot longer than that and doubtless we’ll enjoy the fruits of his labor, and Kevin Hart’s hosting labor of love, when March 30 finally arrives. The show goes at 10 p.m. E.T.
