Note: In the Sawyer interview, now aired, Jenner confirmed he feels he is more a woman than a man and is transitioning to be a woman. He did not reveal the name he will use and did not dress for the interview as a woman. He did allow the cameras to view his closet, which has a section for men’s clothing and another for women’s.
Bruce Jenner: still a father
Jenner, 65, was to host his family at his Malibu home to watch the Sawyer interview on 20/20 Friday night. In their talk he told Sawyer that “2015’s going to be quite a ride — quite a ride.”
Sawyer asks if he’s going to be okay and he replies that he “hopes so.” He recently said the transition would be an “emotional roller coaster.” Part of the journey will include his children.
“Brandon will continue to call Bruce ‘Dad,’ and Brody will still refer to him either by his first name, or his nickname, Bruiser,” a source told Radar online. “Bruce will reveal during the interview that he will always be his kids’ ‘Dad,’ even though he will now be living his life as a woman.
“For Bruce, it’s about what the kids are comfortable with,” Radar Online’s source noted. “None of the kids will be calling him ‘Mom.’ This is truly uncharted territory for the family, and it’s about respecting each other during the process.”

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ cast member, who won a decathlon gold medal at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, has said he would never do anything to hurt his kids and is keeping them uppermost in his mind during his journey. His six children , Burt, Casey, Brandon, Brody, Kendall and Kylie, are by three different women.
Photographs of Jenner in a dress strolling about and smoking outside of his home were recently published by the New York Daily News. Jenner is considering legal options over the photos, taken on the sly with zoom lenses, and his lawyers are looking into California invasion of privacy laws.
Those photos may be the only time the public will see Jenner as a woman for a while, at least if the Radar online source is correct. Why? It seems he/she, who has undergone some breast augmentation surgery, is simply not prepared for it all, not now.
“Don’t expect Bruce to be out in public living as a woman just yet. He just doesn’t seem to be ready to fully embrace his life as a woman,” said the source.
