Whacky, huge parent-brawl breaks out at Chuck E. Cheese in Miami

Chuck E. Cheese fight

A video of the big battle was taken by a 16-year-old on her phone and it went viral. Let’s call the brawl ‘The First Annual Chucking ‘Em at Chucks Bash’ and figure out just why well over a dozen people, most parents with kids in tow, would start fighting at a fast food restaurant.

And the reason is – we can’t be sure. But it clearly was not a good reason, there can be no good reason to go toe-to-toe and slug one another, pull hair and curse while your kids cowered underneath tables.

One participant said it started because one customer looked askance at another. Management’s take on it was similar, they said one group of people did not like the way another group was looking at them so they started punching.

The video lasts but 45 seconds but the fight, at the Kendall Village Center Chuck E. Cheese, went on much longer. Police were called and when they got there the fight was in full swing and officers jumped in to break it up.

It seems Chuck E. Cheeses often host fights. According to WBEZ News in Chicago a franchise of the store in Oak Lawn, Illinois called police 50 times in 2016 to break up fights and in Manchester, Connecticut earlier this year two kids got banged up after being knocked over by adults brawling at a Chuck E. Cheese there.

There’s no word on any charges being laid and no word on how much food was wasted at ‘The First Annual Chuck ‘Em at Chuck’s Bash’ in Miami. Regardless, most people would surely agree that starting a brawl there was a real cheesy thing to do.
