Several Kalashnikovs found in abandoned car after Paris attacks: judicial source

-

Several AK47 rifles of the sort used during the attacks in Paris were found in the black Seat abandoned in an eastern suburb of the capital, a judicial source said Sunday.

Witnesses have said the car, found in Montreuil, was used by attackers at multiple locations on Friday night.

Some 19 people were killed when gunmen opened fire at a restaurant in eastern Paris, with a witness saying they fired from the back of a black Seat.

Another 89 people were killed when black-clad gunmen stormed a Paris concert hall, with police saying they had also opened fire with AK-47s.

One or more attackers also raked the terrace of a pizzeria with gunfire, with a witness saying he saw shots fired from a black car.

Automatic gunfire was also used against another restaurant and a bar. Witnesses said the attackers pulled up in a black Seat Leon car.
