After months of catty geriatric rich kid antics, no-talent rhetoric, and a dazzling total lack of achievement, here’s the world.
Trade is in chaos. So is just about everything else.
Peace isn’t happening.
Organized crime is on holiday and doing fine, making lots of money, thanks for asking.
US politics is its normal hyper-hysterical and largely futile self-destructive self.
America is, as usual, at war with itself and everybody else in between high-profile killings, school shootings, and combinations of both.
Lincoln was right. A house divided isn’t standing. And a garish ballroom won’t make the slightest difference. Politics does nothing but divide until there’s nothing left to divide.
Division is pretty simple in US politics. Right-wing politics is purely conformist and everything else is left-wing. Just pick a target and start a war. The “radical left” is now the problem, according to the radical right.
Thank you, George Orwell, for those helpful hints. The “radical left” has also been described as “leftovers” by progressives for decades, but you can’t expect the super-servile and totally illiterate mainstream media to know that.
The ensuing general chaos is narrated by unelected mainstream media and equally unelected two-dimensional online circus acts. Whoopee.
Politics, you say? No, it isn’t. It’s nothing of the sort.
Just bear with the next few links, please.
I’m trying to establish a sort of documented framework for visualizing the mess that proves the total failure of US politics.
There’s a certain irony in the fact that more people didn’t vote at all in the 2024 election than voted for Trump or Harris.
Thanks to about 90 million bone-lazy or scared Americans, this is “political America,” according to someone. Looks more like government by intimidation or sheer cowardice. Other Americans gave their lives, you can’t be bothered to even vote? How very unimpressive.
Ten years of “post-truth.” or more accurately, total lies, corruption, and disinformation, have left a gap that used to barely contain the credibility of American politics, and Western politics in general.
On this current standard of quality of information, you could say that 1+1 = 2, but you’d have a very hard time proving it.
You could hardly blame anyone for not wanting any part of this repulsive horror story. It’s not exactly democracy, though, is it?
It’s not “representing” anyone anymore. Anyone can be “elected” on the basis of nobody voting.
One third of voters didn’t outvote anyone.
It’s the exact opposite of majority rule. The majority has been disenfranchised.
Not a democracy. Not in any sense representative of the majority by definition and backed up by the numbers.
Happy?
No, you’re not.
Thanks to politics, you can’t afford it, anyway.
Meanwhile, the cost of living is out of control, with no political commentary, policies, or anything else. Not a topic.
Housing is also not a topic, thanks to the duly unelected media controlling the narrative.
Nobody is even theoretically accountable for this abysmal crash and burn. Everyone else pays. That needs to change.
The definition of the word “obsolete” is pretty unambiguous, despite hundreds of entries.
The old meaning of the word “politics” is now obsolete by virtue of being insulting, meaningless, and useless.
So who needs politics? You could try replacing it with sanity.
