Op-Ed: How the Canadians view Olympic benefits

Just hours before the official opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games lights the Olympic flame in Vancouver, CBC posted a very interesting article about how the Canadians perceive the benefits coming from the Games.

There’s a very interesting section of the article where people can sign up and write their comments. Thanks to that opportunity, credited to the internet, the reader can find out what other people think about the posted article and its contents. That’s something that will never be reported in the official news media, even the most trusted in the world.
Another DJ journalist wrote article about this issue before.

The money associated with the Games was always discussed – its purpose, amount, allocation and spending for different events. One of the biggest questions is enormous money spent for security, very detailed and very well covered by Los Angeles Times 2 days ago.

In the meantime, The Vancouver Sun published the article about the cuts in sector of the Ministry of Children and Family Development that contrasts in its contents with the article quoted above. That article has also the section with readers’ comments.

Both articles can be viewed at the time of writing and until they are taken down from the internet for other upcoming news, the readers may post their comments. Read the comments that you will never see delivered to you from your magical black boxes.
You have a chance to express your opinion too – right now, in real time!
